Under the sign of love and friendship and lodged in a house built in 1875, our Bed and Breakfasit offers all modern comfort in a dated decor evoking the good old days. You will be warmly welcomed in our old charming country-style house whether you come as lovers, friends or family or just for a beneficial break in your travels around the region. Children are welcome. Even if our house is still known by the old magogois as `` the house of the veterinary``, pets are unfortunately not allowed.
Our garden, intimate and romantic, with its 140-year-old maple tree and its water pound will delight you. You will believe yourself in the countryside, but close to Rue Principale with its shops, bars, restaurants and terraces, close to Lake Memphremagog and the Cherry River Marsh. The bike path passes in front of the house and the National Park and the Mont Orford Ski Station and Golf are 10 minutes away by car. Discover the Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, Coaticook Gorge and the wonderful landscapes of the region from here. We have a shed for bicycles or skis and parking spaces. A shuttle service and transportation in the area is available on request.
At night, after a dinner out, a show at Le Vieux Clocher, or a walk by the lake, relax in the lounge by the fireplace or around the piano, on the terrace or near the water garden and share a moment of friendship with us. Then you will rest like angels in our quiet contry-style rooms with pretty names borrowed from nature nearby: Tourterelle, Geai-Bleu, Cardinal, Gros-Bec-Errant and Mésange. All rooms are furnished with antiques, have a private bathroom and free wireless Internet. A family suite is available for 2 to 5 people. Four of our rooms have air conditioning, two TV and two with a whirlpool; a large, luxurious, romantic suite also offers an electric fireplace. A small fridge and a Keurig coffee brewer are available on the floor.
In the morning, we will serve you ourselves, in our country-style dining-room or on the sunny terrace looking over the garden and enlivened by birds, a choice of copious, delicious, well-presented and healthy breakfasts. It's the moment to meet and exchange wih us and other guests in a family atmosphere.
